im making spiderman macaroni for presley while she watches blues clues. i've got the house to myself tonight and its real nice. annie is at tiesto at saltair. wish i was there although i've already see him twice. annei sara and i are planning something for tomorrow. brad will keep jack and presley goes with her dad for the weekend. a storm is brewin out there, i can hear it. its spookin me out right now because im alone and a weirdo.
chuck, maybe if it doesnt snow tonight, i will come help with the yard tomorrow.
despite the snowy weather which is expected this weekend, we got a ton of good hamburger patties and we are bbQ'ing over here on sunday, you're all invited. i got some charcoal yesterday, i like the way it makes my burger taste. reminds me of king of the hill when peggy adn bobby eat charcoal burgers behind hank's back. yaaa, thats what i get for livin with a bunch of boys.
i got my ingredients for my thanksgiving rolls. oooh i cant wait.

I talked with cath this morning, we are still bent that we didnt make it to Power to the Peaceful this year, after making the trip to san fran last summer, we were sure we'd go back again, and again.
After realizing that it just wasnt going to happen this year, timing and christines birthday...we were sad, but when i got the voicemail from cath this morning telling me that the PTTP videos were starting to hit youtube....i searched around....I seriously got tears in my eyes, it wasnt really right that we missed the festival...we'll see you there next year...a FOR SURE..

Presley is growing out of everything, likes to cook me pretend smoothies and fish, likes when Michael says "i wanna see ya'll jumpin", & now likes crosby, stills, & nash.I got to be a part of Christine's birthday breakfast. Alongside Chuck, steen, and chris.

ON SUNDAY:
I woke up @ 730, left my sleeping family in their beds, drove to our park, and went running around the track. It felt so super good, & was so nice to be out in the trees, it wasnt too hot yet, either, I'll go again, at least on the weekends when brad can stay home and sleep with the kids. After 25 minutes of running, I was about exhausted and called it quits, but GOOD for me, huh?

i went to majestic's house to cook a feast.
homemade macaroni and cheese, parmesan crusted chicken, a super salad, french bread *& frozen lemon whip with raspberry sauce.
you guys wish you were at majestic's house for dinner, i'll tell you that.
& i'll tell you something else, if you want me to cook for you, just put on food network for me, it makes me want to cook so badly.
im mainly happy i learned to cook that chicken, because now, i can make it with my penne rosa and have an exact noodle & co meal.

ON MONDAY:
work was busy on monday morning, im trying to get all my verifications in once again for insurance and childcare and assistance. Im waiting on our landlord who is taking forever.

I made Jack an anklet, so now all 4 of us family members have one.

we had our second softball game last night, we lost. its nice to get out there though, get a little bit of exercise and have some fun. im glad my parents came, they helped alot with the kids, ..presley pee'd her pants.

Bradley and I got to hang out for a little bit of peace before we, too- were drained of all energy and hope for staying up late anymore.

i listened to voicemail annie left me on friday night, she said :

we went to a friend's house who have a baby just a couple weeks younger than Jack. It was a fun get together, and all the extra friends who haven't met Jack yet, got to see him.

perfect sunday

its been a chore to get myself to go lately, but this weekend i was especially glad to plant myself in the perfect shaded spot of Liberty Park. With my Presley Brynn; equipped with her very own drum, tambourine, & morocca's. Annie met us shortly after; shared goodvibes & a long-burning nag champa. for moments i just laid there on our blanket & for other moments i'd get up when presley summoned me to dance. we took a walk to get some popcorn & an ice cream. seeing many familiar faces, and making new friends....i wondered why i dont still do this every week. ?? it's comfortable.....it's healing.

Although Jack still has long periods of sleep time, he is also beginning to keep his eyes open longer. He is 4 weeks old today & I'm not sure WHAT to do with him while he is awake.
today we will put on some music and dance, i think he will like that. I also think its never too early to start reading to him. I think it'll be good for him.
Any other suggestions??
Today has been a rather painful one...in terms of boredom.
We dont go anywhere because of this heat...and i;ve said it before...but getting the 3 of us ready to go out is near impossible.
I need to drop some paperwork off down the street, but for ONCE in my life- both of my children are snoozing. I CLEANED...and SHOWERED...and i painted my nails.
I await Brads arrival home from work so that i can...do....(just what im not sure. but) something.

i got to go to the Black Keys. As you see its taken me nearly a week to write about it. Annie, Frek, Christine, and Chris and I made our ways to the crowded Gallivan Center. It was baaad. even if you were way back in the back where I remember last year, we had room to lay on the grass.

Well this year, that "lay on the grass space" is non existent. We were shoulder-to-shoulder with everyone else the entire show. it was too ridiculous. last year I was able to bring Presley to the concert series. There's no way I 'd be able to bring kids this year. & as for attending the Iron and Wine concert, (which was the other of the series i chose this year) I think I'll pass. I do like the crane in this picture though.

Last night i made a great salad and a bbq chicken pizza.
Today I think we'll try getting out of the house.

ive been watching snapped this morning, it creeps me out kindof but i just keep watching,
i have to pay all my bills today.
we were supposed to pick dad up from the airport and have lunch today, but his flight got delayed and now cat is going to swoop him. Presley cried: "i wanted to get grampa from the airport"
she keeps begging me to go to Sweet Tomatoes, i thought it sounded good today too, but no way could i do that myself with two kids, i'd need a waitress for that.
the twilight concert series has begun. I picked a couple of thursdays that i wanted to attend, today being one of them: The Black Keys & Human Highway. Will we make it there? I dont even know. my life seems to have been put on hold, even when i want to...and other people want me to...its so hard to get out of the house. getting all of us ready is near impossible to do and be kept sane. and if i do manage to get us all ready and out the door, taking care of us all is such a chore out and about....i dont even make sense.
i stay home most of the day while brad is at work, and clean, and just....be a mom. its turned into quite the job lately.
i dont know how my mother did it. i start to appreciate her all over again, its quite amazing that she raised all of us kids, and she did it well too.

SOMEONE please come visit me, i would love the company.
